This is a print of &#34;Little Island&#34; by A.J. Casson.  The original painting was created in 1965 at Oxtongue Lake, located near Algonquin Park.  This spot was among the artist&#39;s favourite painting places.  Alfred Joseph Casson (1898 – 1992) was a member of the Canadian group of artists known as the Group of Seven.  The Group of Seven, founded in 1920, shared a vision to develop a distinct Canadian artistic voice through direct contact with nature. This initiated a major Canadian national art movement.
