Lot #27: Vintage René Costume Jewelry Lot - 10pc New Old Stock Earring Assortment & Matching Set

Wholesale lot of vintage costume jewelry, primarily from the fashion label René. Most of these pieces are New Old Stock (NOS), remaining untouched on their original retro retail display cards and presentation backings. Featuring a versatile mix of minimalist studs, textured hoops, and a beautifully detailed enamel suite, this collection perfectly captures late 20th-century everyday elegance. Era: Circa 1970s – 1980sMaterials: Gold-tone and silver-tone base metals, faux pearls, enamel, rhinestones, and resin crystals. The René line represents the accessible "high street" fashion movement of the 1970s and 1980s. Unlike luxury fine jewelry houses like René Boivin or René Lalique, this brand was a popular staple of mid-tier department stores. They specialized in bringing contemporary trends, geometric patterns, and reliable hypoallergenic metals to budget-conscious buyers. Today, collectors prize these lots specifically for their complete original packaging and pristine stock state, which makes them highly desirable for retro aesthetic displays, film/theater costuming, or immediate retail resale.
