Two of the windows show classic geometric windowpane grids, while the opposite side panels display a stylized cut-out scroll or character pattern designed to cast decorative shadows when illuminated. The Roof (Kasa): Designed with an elegant, wide-flaring hexagonal pagoda roofline that mimics traditional East Asian architecture. It is topped by a heavy circular finial cap (Hoju). The Stand (Sao): The lantern rests on an ornate, highly sculptural cast-iron pedestal engineered to look like a rustic, gnarled tree branch or driftwood stump.
