Pair of Ornate Antique Silver-Tone Drinking Vessels – Embossed Floral &#38; Scrollwork 

Large antique German doll attributed to J.D. Kestner, one of Germany’s most respected early doll manufacturers. The bisque socket head is incised “Made in Germany” and “164,” identifying the desirable Kestner mold number 164.
The doll measures approximately 27″ high and features blue glass eyes, painted brows and eyelashes, rosy cheeks, an open mouth and a fully articulated composition-and-wood body. Includes aged knit socks and leather shoes.
The doll is offered in as-found condition for restoration or display. 
The wig is largely missing or deteriorated, with remaining hair and adhesive residue around the head. The composition body has extensive age-related discoloration, crazing, scratches, finish loss and cracking, including visible damage around one wrist. Shoes are heavily worn and deteriorated. Eye mechanism has not been tested. No clothing is included.
