Nora Roberts as J.D. Robb books. There are 35 hardcover, and those are pretty much all like-new. There are 2 trade paperbacks, and those are more well-used.  They have spine creases, and might have corner bends and such. Assume that there are owner markings or prices to the first page or two. A couple might be ex-library.

Apparently Nora Roberts started writing under a pseudonym, because her publisher said she already wrote too many books. That if she wanted to branch out, she needed to do it under a different name, because the market was already saturated with Nora Roberts. So, she chose a different name, and saturated the market...under a new name.

8 book lot of antique books. These are true antiques, from 100 - 110 years old! The dates on these books are from 1916 - 1926.

They are in amazingly decent shape for being so old - but they are older than almost any living human, so expect that they all have had some amount of love and use. Do you know any 104 year old humans? I have met some, and they are unbelievable and amazing. These books are as old as the oldest humans on the planet. It gives a person chills to think about a 104 year old human, being a baby when these books were printed...

8 book lot of almost-antique books. These are not technically antiques, by definition, because they're less than 100 years old. So technically they're "vintage." But ask any granny - there's not a lot of difference between being 96 and 100 years old. The dates on these books are from 1927 - 1930. 

Some of these have been well-loved and well-used; some are in almost very-good shape. I hope that I'm in as good shape if I ever reach 96 years old.

15 book lot of vintage books. These are Grammy and Gramps of vintage books, with dates from 1941 - 1950. 

These are mostly in quite good shape, which makes sense - books published from 1941 - 1950 are "post-war" which means that the materials used are decent to great quality paper, good ink, good cloth. The books from just prior to that were "war books" and made out of very thin and poor paper, and not nearly as many survived until now.
