Assortment of vintage Trade Winds Red pattern fine stone china produced by Spode (formerly Copeland Spode).  This pattern was introduced around 1960 and remained in production until 1993.  Features historic clipper ships from the period 1790 – 1820.  Made in England.  The pattern is a red coral colour with gold trim, and the stoneware is soft light gray.  Consists of the following nine (9) pieces: coffee pot and lid, creamer, sugar bowl, large platter, small platter dish, square bowl, and covered dish with lid.  Note: small platter dish has a small chip and hairline crack - see photo.

This is a giclee print of Blue Heron (1957) by A.J. Casson.   Depicts a great blue heron soaring over a tranquil, tree-lined forest and reflective water.  Alfred Joseph Casson, (1898 – 1992) was a member of the Canadian group of artists known as the Group of Seven.  He joined the group in 1926 at the invitation of Franklin Carmichael. Casson is best known for his depictions of landscapes, forests and farms of southern Ontario, and for being the youngest member of the Group of Seven.  Note: small crease in corner - see last photo.

Japanese wood relief art featuring two koi fish (carp) swimming beneath a large, stylized Kanji character (which appears to be &#34;Wa&#34; meaning harmony or peace).   In Japanese culture, koi are symbols of perseverance, strength, and good fortune.  The artwork is set in a multi-layer wood frame and the central scene is mounted on a light-colored, textured background.  On the left side, there is a signature and  red artist&#39;s seal.
