This Birks silverware pattern is in the traditional English revival style and each piece is monogrammed with a stylistic M. All pieces are stamped “BIRKS STERLING” consistent with Birks production in the early-mid 20th century (1930-1940s). 

This pattern is substantial and has a great hand feel. 

Can be paired with another lot of the matching sterling silverware (dessert, specialty and serving pieces) also in this auction. 

This sterling flatware collection was assembled by a single owner over roughly a decade in the 1970s. Each place setting was intentionally built to maintain a consistent, matched service—resulting in a cohesive and well-balanced dining set.

Dinner knives are 10” long, have hollow handle and stainless steel blade and weight of 8 is 687.7 grams.
Smaller knives have the same construction but are 9” long and total weight of 8 is 573.3 grams.
Dinner forks are 8” long, total weight of 8 is 537.2 grams.

These serving pieces would compliment any of the other Birks silverware in this auction. These specialty pieces come from the same single-owner sterling collection, assembled gradually in the 1970s.

The large serving spoons are 9” long and have a total weight for all 4 of 310.9 grams.

This type of formal dining piece was typical of the pre WWII era. 

These forks, although more delicate than the other matching pieces are striking in this pattern. 

These specialty pieces come from the same single-owner sterling collection, assembled gradually in the 1970s. Acquired to complement the core service, they reflect traditional formal dining addition offering the opportunity to expand or refine the core dinner set.

OMEGA 17 Jewel Pocket Watch c.1922  in gold filled case

An early English sterling piece, this Georgian teaspoon by Godbehere Wigan & Co delivers everything serious collectors look for: age, craftsmanship, and authentic hand engraving.

Georgian sterling silver teaspoon by Godbehere, Wigan &#38; Co. c. 1800-1820

This memorial cross was issued
to the family of Frederick Samuel Austin Connell who was killed/missing in action during the Canadian assault at Courcelette, Battle of the Somme, Sept 17, 1916. Private FSA Connell (regiment no. 123207) served in the 58th Battalion (Central Ontario), CEF, part of the Canadian Expeditionary Force.

Original brooch has suspension intact. The Royal Cypher of King George V is at center with a laurel wreath and cross motif (unpolished, original patina).

WWI CANADIAN Sterling silver MEMORIAL CROSS – named casualty at the Somme

Vintage press back wood rocking chair paired with a coordinating upholstered piano stool/bench. 

The rocker is a nice petite size. It is armless, with a solid saddled seat, decoratively carved crest rail, and turned spindle details. This American Colonial revival chair is likely a mid-century (1930-40s) production.  

Paired with the rocker is a vintage mahogany solid wood piano stool with the original damask/embroidered cushion. 

Both pieces show minor overall wear, plus some scratches on the underside of rockers rails and scratches on top side of piano bench. See pictures. 

Rocker is approximately 17” wide x 28” long (including rails) x 35” high.  Seat is approximately 15” from floor and approximately 15” square. 

Stool is approximately 20” wide x 14” deep x 18” high.
