During a storage locker clean out. I found in a cardboard box this Pearl Necklace with Carrying Case. The display tray does not come with the pearls, but the bag comes with the pearls. The pearls appear to be in very good vintage condition. The strand is smoothly strung and appears to be knotted. Since I am not an appraiser or collector, I am not able to determine the pearl type. But these pearls seem to possess a cream body color with good luster and a soft, iridescent glow. The pearls show no visible or a very minor surface blemish. It features high-quality gold-tone typography and six detailed photographic insets of iconic holes from prestigious American golf courses. The condition of the bar sign is good and that the glass appears clear and the wood frame shows minimal wear. While cleaning out a storage locker, I found a sealed, which I opened, box of Vintage Del Monte Promotional Tin Can Banks – Set of 6. These banks carry a special historical significance beyond typical advertising memorabilia. As noted on the included yellow insert, they were &#34;Fabricated by the Disabled&#34; at the Village of Progress, Inc. in Oregon, Illinois. Historically, The Village of Progress is a private non-profit (founded in 1969) that provides vocational training and employment for adults with developmental disabilities. These banks represent a successful historical collaboration between a major American corporation (Del Monte) and a community-based vocational center. The condition of the banks is excellent and they are &#34;still&#34; banks; they are traditionally opened with a can opener once full, or by carefully shaking coins back through the slot. Bostrom-Brady No.4 Survey Level with Case

During the clean out of an estate sale, I found in the family room on a shelve a Vintage Bostrom-Brady No. 4 Survey Level – Brass & Steel Instrument with Original Wood Case. This survey level is a beautiful piece of American engineering history: a Bostrom-Brady No. 4 Contractor’s Level. Manufactured in Atlanta, Georgia. This instrument was designed for precision leveling in construction, grading, and foundation work. The condition of the survey level appears to exhibit normal wear and age. Therefore, the level should be professional cleaned and calibrated. Also I don&#39;t know, but the level appears to be missing the glass bezel. The optics appear clear and intact crosshairs but need some TLC. The level does not come with a plumb bob or tripod. Therefore, the level would be an excellent addition to Collectors of antique scientific instruments, surveying enthusiasts, or as a high-end industrial decor piece for an office or library.
