A 1776-1976 D Bicentennial Eisenhower Dollar Coin. This coin was issued to commemorate the bicentennial of the United States. 

Obverse Design: The coin features the portrait of former President Dwight D. Eisenhower. 

Reverse Design: The reverse side features the Liberty Bell superimposed on the moon. 

Mint Mark: The &#34;D&#34; mint mark indicates that the coin was struck at the Denver Mint. 

Composition: The circulation strike coins, like this one, were made from a copper-nickel clad composition. 

Mintage Year: Although the date &#34;1776-1976&#34; appears on the coin, they were produced for circulation in both 1975 and 1976.
