Lot #19: Two Original Paintings by Joshua Been

Two original artworks by the artist, Joshua Been. These are original pieces of art - from the words of the artist (from documentation on the back), this artwork is a one of a kind page in the visual journal of my life. Through design, my work is best viewed with a little distance while the textures and brushwork lower one in for closer look, it is the elegant randomness of form and life that I dance with, and I always try to do the universe justice in my attempt to catch them by taking the time to render what I find to be emotional or simply spectacular here on earth. I hope to remind and inspire others to take the time to see, and then unique way how amazing this all is. I’m very fortunate for the gift of placing these 'reminders' into the lives of others and will never take that gift granted. On the back the smaller painting is titles 'Out of Darkness'.
