There is no publicly available information confirming whether he is still living. He is not big, but well known in Russia. His works are held in the museum collections of Saratov and the Saratov region, as well as in private collections in Russia, Canada, Israel, France, and the Netherlands. In Russia, his paintings typically sell in the range of 200 to 1,000 cad. Most of his works are executed in a style consistent with this piece. The frame and canvas are significantly older than the painting itself. Based on comparison with similar items I have previously owned in Russia, the frame appears to date to the 1940s, and the canvas also shows signs of age. The artwork, however, is dated 2004.
