Royal Holland Pewter and Georges Briard Pieces

MCM serving items for entertaining with flair. The blue glass tray has teak handles with brass tips, and is hand-painted and signed in gold by Georges Briard. Pebbled underside, intact gold plating, and pristine condition, 12" X 10.25". Briard emigrated from Russia to the US in 1937, studied at the Art Institute of Chicago, and designed for a variety of glass manufacturers as well as licensing his name for them to produce his designs. Highly collectible. We also include a teak tray with coordinating pear motif on the hand-painted and signed tile (needs to be reglued), stamped and inked Woodland on the reverse, some water spotting, 9"sq. A stainless steel celery tray from Danish firm Kalmar has rosewood handles and original care instructions, 13" X 4.75". Several Daalderop pewter pieces from Royal Holland Pewter include a pitcher, 7.5"W X 6"H; a small cup; a bud vase, 6"H; and a pair of small shot-glass sized cups, no handles. The pitcher and bud vase have a single letter monogram. Daalderop was originally a line of pewterware that rebranded as Royal Holland Pewter, and produced decorative and functional items until the late 1980s. A set of four resin and brass handled cutlery.
