Allied Military Currency was a form of currency issued by the Allied powers during World War II to be used by troops in newly occupied or liberated countries. The "Am-lira" was put into circulation in Italy after the Allied landing in Sicily in July 1943. -A Canadian meat ration token from the Second World War. These tokens were issued by the Canadian government to manage food consumption and ensure an adequate supply for soldiers overseas and for the war-torn countries of Europe. Meat rationing was introduced in Canada in May 1943 and ended in 1947. - A 10 Reichspfennig coin from Germany, minted in 1940.
