Gordon Hutches 2 Wine Goblets

• Gordon achieved his BFA (Honours) at the University of Illinois. • By the mid 1970's he built his home and pottery studio on Denman Island. • Gordon has taught at North Island College, School of Fine Art and Design since 1999. • He has exhibited extensively across Canada, USA and had 3 major exhibitions in Japan. • He has published, and his work has been featured in many publications, and he has made 4 teaching videos. • These goblets date from the late 1970's to early 1980's. • Cone 10 gas fired stoneware clay with a wax resist cobalt oxide decoration. • One goblet is in excellent condition, no breaks, cracks, or chips. The other goblet hanse breaks or cracks, but some chips on the rim, and stem.
