Pat Webber Dogwood Ewer

• March 25, 1945, died June 6, 2023. • Pat Webber studied at the Oregon State Univ., and then at Portland Art Museum. • Pat had a studio in Brentwood and Cordova Bay, but then moved to Saltspring Island. • She exhibited with the 'Fired UP, Contemporary Works in Clay,' and fired with the Digger Mountain Anagama wood kiln in Alsea Oregon, with Jay Widmer. • This is a highly unusual piece from Pat, both in form and in style. She rarely carved her pieces, or made pieces "for show", and not practical purposes. • This ewer was thrown with a white stoneware clay, and the 3-D dogwood flower design was a combination of carved, and applied clay.
