These are sculpted of sterling silver shaman‑style earrings by artist Bill Worrell (1936–2021), inspired by Indigenous petroglyph motifs and spirit figures. Signed by the artist. In 1979, on a canoe trip down the Pecos River, Worrell discovered ancient rock art and pictographs on cave walls—these profoundly shaped his artistic vision. He developed modern interpretations of these symbols across media including sculpture, painting, clay, and jewelry. His sculptures often depict shamanic figures with antlers, multiple arms, and symbolic motifs—casting them in bronze using the lost-wax technique, sometimes accentuated with patina, stone, copper, or turquoise.
